Schwartz Lab

Welcome to the Schwartz lab! Our laboratory focuses on the cell and molecular biology of intracellular protein targeting and degradation. Specifically, we have defined two areas of concentration which are closely integrated:

  1. Understanding the role of protein processing and degradation within the endosomal/lysosomal pathway and in the cytoplasm.
  2. Understanding the cell and molecular biology of receptor-mediated endocytosis and its regulation.
