THACH LAB

Our laboratory is involved with studies related to infant apnea, development of control of breathing, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, infant sleep physiology regulation of breathing during hypoxia in animal models (mice). Laboratories for animal physiologic studies and a separate labratory for infant studies are maintained. Recently we have also undertaken epidemiologic studies related to sudden unexpected deaths in infants.
