Nicole Warrington

Nicole is a research associate who started in the lab when it was still back in Boston. Besides her interest in neuroscience and tumor biology she is an avid reader of American history and an animal lover.

B Mark Woerner

Mark is a staff scientist with many years experience in all aspects of the immunohistochemical evaluation of protein expression in animal model and human tissue within the pharmaceutical and university environments. Mark excels at working in a team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are important.

Lihua Yang, M.D., Ph.D.

Lihua is a post-doctoral fellow. She graduated from medical school in China and got her Ph.D. in Japan. She has been working in the field of neuroscience for more than ten years. She came to Washington University in 2004 and is interested in cerebellar development and medulloblastoma.

Raj Sengupta, Ph.D.

Raj received his PhD in neuroscience from Drexel University College of Medicine in March 2009. He is interested in understanding the role of CXCR4 and its modulation in medulloblastoma as well other brain tumors.

Tao Sun, Ph.D.

Tao’s interested in the role of CXCL12 in brain tumor formation and dissection of the signaling pathways that are responsible for CXCL12 conferred pro-survival effects in astrocytes. Tao received his PhD in molecular biology and biochemistry from Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Shyam Rao, M.D., Ph.D.

Shyam is a resident in Radiation Oncology at Washington University and is currently working as a post-doctoral reseacher in the Rubin lab. He is interested in the biology of glioblastoma tumorigenesis and treatment resistance.  He received his undergraduate training in molecular & cell biology at the University of California, Berkeley and M.D./Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine.

Erin Gribben

Erin is a Research Lab Supervisor with over 7 years experience in research at Washington University.  She got her undergraduate degree from University of Georgia and her master's degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from the University of Tennessee.  She maintains the lab mouse colony and works with all lab members to complete experiments.

Anna Choe

Anna is an undergraduate student at Washington University.  In the lab she is studying the relationship between the circadian rhythm, cell cycle, and cAMP in U87 cells in order to understand the interdependence of the three factors.
